About the library

Daystar University Library provides print, audio-visual and electronic resources for the learning and research of the university’s students and faculty.

Our vision

A world-class, Christ-centred and user-focused information resource and knowledge centre for academic excellence and scholarship.

Two campus libraries and a digital library

The Agape Library on the Athi River (main) campus and the Nairobi Campus Library on Valley Road share one collection. The digital library brings online databases, e-books, e-journals, podcasts, videos and case studies to you on and off campus.

The library runs on the KOHA system, whose integrated modules connect the catalogue, circulation and your library account.

Office of the University Librarian

The library is led by the University Librarian, Mrs Jane Wambua Yobera. Reach the office by email at library@daystar.ac.ke, or by phone on +254 709 972 538 (Athi River) or +254 709 972 254 (Nairobi).
